My Story

I’ve traveled a fair amount. Enough to have some stories and experiences that are interesting and funny. I'm a teacher (Biology and Environmental Science), writer, and photographer that is published internationally and domestically. My travels have taken me into Honduras a week after a military coupe, into the Saguaro NP desert dying of thirst backpacking on my first solo trip – in the middle of June, and meditating in the forest of Thailand alone. I've been a part of a couple firsts - World’s first ever radio-collaring of a slow loris (during a grad class) in Borneo and was the person cut-off on the cover of the national newspaper and I was the first to breed snail-eating snakes (Simon nebulatus) in the US.

On my site you can find a portfolio of work I’ve compiled over the last 15 years, work I have for sale, and photography services I offer. You can also read my attempt at a blog, where I’ll provide some photography tips, trip itineraries for backpacking, and stories of my travels across the globe.

Feel free to reach out to me to talk shop, discuss travel, or just comment on my work!

Cheers,

Chris
